This morning I awoke at 10 o’clock. I turned on the television and watched “The Graduate” on AMC at one of its most popular excellent moments for fifteen minutes. My teeth still ache and are very stiff, but I am not fully recovered. I get dressed and take my novels with me down the hall. I place my books as well as my book full of my teen dramedy comic script down on the banister. I go to the washroom and head downstairs. I take my medication at ten thirty with some orange juice and hop onto my computer. I check the superherohype boards and watch “The Spirit” and “The Dark Knight” trailer. The San Diego Comic Con is slowly approaching that I hope to attend from the 23rd of July to the 27th. Although the website has not yet revealed what films will be featured on preview night. I am curious as to what films will be shown on preview night. I think Sin City 2, Watchmen and The Spirit will possibly be some of them. I have not read “The Spirit” comic series by Will Eisner, but I truly hope to because it seems very interesting and right up my alley in terms of genre and what I am fascinated in writing. I made some progress on Chapter four in the teen dramedy I have been writing and feel it is coming along well. My teen dramedy is about two teenagers who are just about to graduate from high school. Their names are Mirabel and Elias and have been friends for most of their life. They have grown up together, however they are not a couple. Both of them are rebellious and outcasts to society. Mirabel and Elias are complete opposites. Mirabel is very anti social and observant. Elias is passionate and confident in concern to his social life. Their parents encourage them greatly in their lives, but it does not have a major influence on either of them. Mirabel is visibly an outcast in how she acts on the outside and Elias is clearly an outcast on the inside in how he acts. Mirabel and Elias try to connect on a balanced level as they feel they are both drifting apart and face individuality in their lives. I hope many people will be able to relate to various aspects of this story. I have developed the story in a very detailed fashion. Ideas flow well and quite easily. I feel the accident upon my birth that caused my disability in life has given me a gift. I am convinced due to my disability, that it has heightened my artistic senses to an extremely high extent. Creative story ideas form in my mind very simply every day and I use it to my advantage in writing comics, graphic novels and screenplays for film. It is my gift…my curse. It is not only a curse or a gift, but a power…
